Clay CSS A Web Implementation of Liferay's Experience Language
About
This is Clay, the web implementation of Liferay’s Experience Language. This is a system for building applications in and outside of Liferay, designed to be fluid and extensible, as well as provide a consistent and documented API.
Note About Bootstrap 4 Utilities (Don’t use them)
We are moving away from Bootstrap 4’s Utility System because it assumes you have complete access to the markup. As theme developers, we know that is not always the case. There are many situations where we don’t have access or know what the markup will be, therefore we prefer to take colors and spacing on a per component basis. This helps us scope the CSS properties to a specific component so we don’t have to worry much about breaking colors or spacing in unrelated components.
